Victorinox Stainless Steel Chef's Knife

The chef’s knife is probably the only real tool you’d keep if you had to chose only one. Most robot tasks could be done with a good chef’s knife and enough motivation.

The Victorinox Chef’s knife was my first real knife and I still use it today. Sure there are fancier knives out there, but this one does the job perfectly. I think it is better to invest a little bit in a knife like this than to buy a full set of knives that you might not use as much. With a good sharpening and some care, this knife will last you a really long time.
