60% keyboards have some drawbacks, but now that I’ve used this one for a long time, classic keyboards look gigantic to me. The wooting is a great way to get a good quality keyboard without going to deep into the mechanical keyboard niche.
The appeal of the Wooting is the analog switches, using magnets to provide full motion input. Combined with the great software, you can configure the actuation point for each individual key. This has many benefits, specifically for gaming. The tradeoff is that that the switches are linear, so if you like the clicking feedback of specific switches, you might want to look elsewhere.
These days I’m thinking more and more about going back to membrane keyboards for general purpose use, but mechanical keyboards still feel a lot better for gaming. I’m also really tempted to get a ergonomic split keyboard, but it’s a whole other beast.
